Dr. Melissa Wilson
Dr. Melissa Wilson, L.Ac, OMD is a board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist by the Nevada Board of Oriental Medicine, California State Board, and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Wilson received her degree from the University of Nevada Reno and went on to a four year Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine program at Pacific College of Health and Science, in San Diego, California. While studying, she worked in various externships including UCSD Sports Medicine program, Veteran's clinic, and serving the Pacific Beach homeless and underserved community.
Dr. Wilson has worked in multiple facilities treating a multitude of conditions. She has a history of treating a high volume of patients per week with all different chief complaints. She specializes in women's health and fertility as well orthopedic disorders.
Dr. Wilson opened Roots Acupuncture & Wellness to ensure she would have the time and space to give to each and every one of her patients. She treats each patient as an individual and believes each person is unique to every treatment.
Dr. Amanda Schultz
Dr. Amanda Schultz, L.Ac., OMD is a board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist by the Nevada Board of Oriental medicine and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Schultz graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with her degree in Community Health Science with a focus in Kinesiology.
She then pursued her master's degree at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her compassionate care and integrative approach empower patients to address the root causes of their ailments, rather than just managing symptoms.
